Chimney Rock is the most monumental  peak in the Cimarron Range - a range that contains scores of strange and wondrous mountains, towering spires, and  rugged ridgelines.
Photographers love to take advantage of dramatic clouds to create more compelling images, but on this particular evening, I had no such luck, so I positioned myself between two aspen trees and used their branches and leaves to add interest to the featureless sky.
